OUR FACILITY
Take a look around our World-Class surgery centre...
On arrival...
We are easily accessible from the M4/A470 junction. On arrival please follow the signs and utilise one of our patient parking bays which are located right outside of our front door.
On entry...
You will be greeted by our friendly reception staff before heading to our relaxing air-conditioned waiting area complete with a calming feature waterfall wall. There is chilled filtered water available so help yourself.
Initial Consultation...
This will be held in one of our consultation suites. These rooms are affectionately known as the Mynydd Suite and the Blodyn Suite, meaning Mountain and Flower in Welsh. They are designed to create a relaxed and welcoming feel for our patients.
Planning...
A lot of our treatments involve assessment of your jaws using our state-of-the-art conebeam CT scanner machine which can take either 2-Dimensional or 3-Dimensional images to help us to carefully plan your treatment.
Treatment...
Your treatment would be provided in one of our beautiful treatment suites known as Castell Suite, meaning Castle, and Afon Suite, meaning river. The operating chairs are designed to provide unparalleled comfort during your treatment. We also have TVs on the ceilings for you to watch during your procedure as well as warm blankets available to help maximise your comfort.
Recovery suite...
For those patients who have had sedation for their treatment you can relax in our spa-like recovery room before making your way home.
Behind the scenes...
We have invested in a state-of-the-art decontamination facility within our surgical centre to help ensure gold standard processing of instruments between patients. This is in line with our unparalleled effort to help us deliver the highest standard of care.
Lecture facilities
We are lucky enough to have an on-site 50 seater lecture theatre which is used for running courses for other healthcare professionals who visit the centre. These courses are run by our team of highly qualified clinicians and are part of our commitment to continuing professional education.
Reducing plastic waste...
We have looked to all areas within the practice where we can reduce plastic waste to help look after our environment for the future generations. You won't find a plastic cup in sight! We have substituted plastic cups for sterilisable stainless steel cups. We have also invested in metal rather than plastic containers for the sterilisation of instruments to help reduce our use of plastic even further.
