Firstly, to be clear, none of these above terms/treatments mean that you get the final tooth/teeth on the same day. What it means is that a fixed temporary tooth or bridge is fitted on to the implants on the SAME DAY as the surgery to extract teeth and place the implant(s). A period of healing then follows to allow you bone to heal on to the implant surface before the final crown or bridge is fabricated. There are usually one to four appointments before the surgery day to do the preparatory work. This treatment can be provided for either single teeth sites or a full upper and/or lower arch of teeth, but not in between.
